Why ‘Having the IRS do your taxes for you’ is such a HORRIBLE IDEA!

I think the Liberal Lefties have reached an all time low with this one. Most of us have known for a very long time that Democrats LOVE BIG GOVT, but this is the most egregious abuse of Gov’t ever offered up. Just off the top of my head, here are just a few reasons I could think of that doing so is such a HORRIBLE IDEA!

  1. This would grow the Gov’t. We already know the IRS is the one of the most inefficient parts of the US Gov’t. To give it MORE POWER over our taxes would kill our economy exponentially.
  2. Would reduce competition in the marketplace by overpowering US companies. Such companies as H&R Block, TurboTax, and TaxAct (to name a few of the largest) would be run out of business or engulfed by the same Gov’t purporting to protect them.
  3. Lower (or minimized) Tax returns. If you thought the Gov’t isn’t stealing enough of your money already, then hey, maybe you want this to happen. But for the millions of Americans who over pay their (income and FICA) taxes every month, only to receive a fraction of it at the end of the tax year, this is a HORRIBLE IDEA! If the IRS is doing your taxes, I can guarantee they will err in their favor…and they will ALWAYS be right.

“This year, taxpayers will spend an average of 13 hours preparing and filing their returns, and will pay $200 for tax preparation services – a cost equal to almost 10 percent of the average federal tax refund,” Warren said in a statement.

That’s why we need the “FAIR tax Act of 2015” (HR-25). Let’s eliminate the IRS completely, not increase their size/power.
